Pine Glades Tunnel Completed and Snow King Hillside Reclaimed
Oct 31, 2008

Enjoy Snow King Just as it Was.
Now that we're done, you won't even know it's there.

»    Pine Glades Saves 83% of the Site's Trees. Previous plans for this site would have seen HALF of the trees removed compared to the 17% as a result of the tunnel and clustered townhome design.

»    Pine Glades Reduces Traffic Impact on Neighbors by Providing Access Via a Tunnel. With the tunnel, Pine Glades puts traffic directly onto Cache Street rather than through Pine and Wister, as previous plans proposed.

»    Pine Glades Designates 33% of Homes as Affordable Housing (twice the Town's requirement). 12 units of affordable housing will be created on-site in the Town of Jackson, close to public transportation, pathways, public services and restaurants.

»    Pine Glades is on track to be one of the first LEED certified residential projects in Jackson.

»    Pine Glades Provides 1 Mile of New Pathways and Trails and 4.75 Acres of Ski Terrain to the Public.

»    Pine Glades Preserves 12 Acres of Open Space. Unlike a conventional single-family subdivision, Pine Glades clusters residences on only 5 acres, locates ingress drive aisles under the units and eliminates the need for individual driveways.

We thank our friends and neighbors who have been incredibly patient and supportive over the past couple months. We all look forward to soon enjoying Snow King the way it was!

Please join us for a Tour of the Tunnel and Lunch on Friday, October 31 at noon to 2pm at entrance on South Cache.
